About
My projects name is Under the sea. Under the sea is inspired by my love for the sea and its various unique creatures. I chose ink as my working method for the project because I like it when art is detailed. However, I didn't want my drawings to be filled with only detailed and pre-planned lines, so i also used an abstract style to keep them interesting. I got my inspiration from Pinterest pictures, but almost every dot and line i drew in my work is formed while doing it and most of it was not planned in advance.
During the project I made a few "mistakes" that I didn't like so much, so while working I had to change my original plan many times. I wouldn't want to change anything in my work, I like all of them because they are all slightly different from each other in their own way. I am very satisfied with the end result, I think the work turned out well.
Process
Sketching
All the drawings started with me outlining their basic shapes with a pencil.
Finished sketch
After the sketch was completed, I started to develop the idea of ​​the technique I'm going to use. I used different techniques in all the drawings because I wanted them to stand out from each other.
Drawing outlines with ink
Before I started brainstorming ideas on how to fill in the parts that I hadn't sketched yet, I went over all the lines I drew with a pencil with ink.
Coloring with ink
Finally, the finishing touches with ink. At this point the work became complete.
